Phoenix rising.

Overview.

A faded tribal band the client had hidden for a decade, reborn as rising phoenix wings. The old black now lives inside the wing shadows — you would never know it was there.

CHALLENGE

The old work was dense and scarred in places. One round of laser fading softened it enough that feathers, not blackout, could do the job.

APPROACH

Dorian composed wing layers so every dark mass of the old tattoo sits beneath new shadow. Two sessions, and the client wore short sleeves to the healed review.
